Led the migration of a large-scale legacy data pipeline originally built on on-premise COBOL systems to a modern cloud architecture. The project required deep analysis of undocumented COBOL batch jobs, reverse-engineering business logic, and reimplementing equivalent pipelines in cloud-native tooling. Special care was taken to validate output parity between old and new systems before full cutover. The result was a significant reduction in maintenance overhead and infrastructure cost, with improved observability and scalability.
